Lincoln County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a part of the National CASA Association. CASA is made up of volunteers, who are appointed by a juvenile judge to speak for abused and neglected children in court. These volunteers are extraordinary folks who make a commitment to this child for the length of time the child will be in the custody of the state.

Our Mission is to speak for the best interests of abused and neglected children in court. We promote and support quality volunteer representation for children to provide each child a safe, permanent, nurturing home.

With only one director, Lincoln County CASA is a state mandated, volunteer-driven agency. The Beach Ball revenues help us to provide training, educational materials, and support for these wonderful volunteers. The volunteers currently receive only minimal reimbursement for their mileage and a phone card to assist in staying connected with all parties involved in a child’s case.
